Nice darker roast coffee. A little darker than my usual taste but let’s talk about it. French press, stovetop espresso, & a medium coarse pour over. For the coffee purists sorry I like my darker coffees with milk or cream and a touch of sugar. I think if you’re like me this pairs perfectly with that coffee philosophy. This is a hearty roast. It reminds me of a rainy morning in the 40°s. Or a camping trip on the Kilchis River as a kid. We used to go in early spring and in the fall.
1. Grind on the medium coarse side and brew pour over for an American drip. Great café or fancy diner style.
Add heavy cream and a raw sugar cube, it’s fantastic!
2. Grind fine and pack it in a mocha express for a stovetop espresso. Nice crema and froth some milk and a 1/2 raw sugar cube.
3. The French press, grind is coarse. This is the camping coffee. Misting, foggy, cold morning on the Oregon coast.

If you like average coffee that costs $12 per cup + 15 mins in the drive-thru, then this coffee isn't for you. This is the best coffee I have ever had. Highly recommend if you like having sustained energy throughout the day and a great tasting cup of joe in the morning.
