We love the coffee and the subscription system but the time between deliveries is too fast for us. For some reason I did not get a notice about our most recent delivery so I was not able to adjust the date of the next delivery. We now have a big store of beans!

We have purchased the Powell Butte blend twice and very much enjoy the flavor. We buy whole beans and use a Burr grinder to grind the beans. Do about a quart jar at a time. Believe we preserve the flavor of the beans longer this way.

Best coffee I’ve had in a long time. Aces!!!

We have found the FTO Morning Ride blend to work perfectly in our ECM Synchronika machine w E61 group head. Excellent crema. Smooth flavor, never bitter. Each bag takes a small amount of tweaking to achieve 21 grams grounds and 45 -50 cc out in about 34 seconds (4 second pre-infusion). The attached photo is of a double obviously, so the numbers different (17 grams ground and 35-40 cc out). This is smooth tasting. Great for latte's or other milk based drinks, as well as straight shots. It is a quite forgiving roast too, so even if my shots are too fast or too slow, the flavor profile remains very good. I get no bitterness even if slow. Enjoy!

We love the FTO Morning Ride blend using it several times per day in our nice ECM Synchronika espresso machine. It is a nice medium roast and always yields smooth tasting shots, never bitter, even if my grind is off a bit. I would say it is quite forgiving in that regard. I often use a precise scale to weight both the grounds from our mini-Mazzer grinder and measure the output from the E61 group head. Each batch seems slightly different, yet it does not take long to dial it in. The crema is good to very good. I think its best attribute, beyond smooth taste, is being forgiving. If my triple shots (21.0 grams) produce an output of 45-60 grams over 34 seconds (4 second pre-infusion) it remains smooth, not bitter. (For reference, I aim for 50 grams out, from 21.0 grams of ground Morning Ride, over 34 seconds) We have tried a lot of espresso blends from all over. Though there are a few others that rival or exceed Morning Ride in taste or crema, they are priced significantly higher. At this point in time, we see no need to pursue anything else. Very highly recommended!

I have tried Morning Ride, Kona and now Guatemala, all excellent. Nice to be able to switch off time to time.

This is my second purchase of the Guatemala for the workplace. I'm in charge of what I'll call our "coffee program" and this coffee has been able to satisfy a wide variety of tastes. Everyone always comments of the great scent coming from our office kitchen when a post is brewing. The coffee is essentially as described on the website, light roast with some milk chocolate sweetness. It's also easy to drink and enjoy!

Makes a fantastic cup of coffee. Perfect middle between too dark and too mild!

After trying many famous brand and small roast coffees, Cycle Town turned out to be my favorite. The amazon is a nice dark coffee with a smooth rich finish. This coffee is reasonably priced and Cycle Town has excellent customer service, also I love riding bikes and great coffee, so this was a perfect match.

Nice lighter roast. No bitterness at all, and tastes great. And the bonus is that it really gets you rolling. Definitely no shortage of caffeine.

Have combined both bags, plus some Dunkins beans, and came up with my own blend. So far we luv it, looking forward to my son-inlaws, gift of it also.

My order was shipped relatively fast and coffee came freshly roasted and has been wonderful to use as drip or pour over! 5 lb bag was a significant savings over other roasters I have used without compromising quality. Will definitely be ordering again.

Typically, I don't buy dark roast coffees. But at the price this was offered, and it being a Sumatra coffee, I had try it. Bought two five (5) pound bags. It's a very good coffee, at least for me. Very smooth. Will definitely buy it again, especially if it appears in a medium roast.

Nice flavor profile. A bit meatier roast than I usually go for but nice all the same. Bought it as a go to at the house in the 5 LB version. Usually run it through a chemex or aero press and it responds well. It does well in an icedAmericano in the afternoon. Will try them again.

I placed my first order about a week ago after I spoke to Darin. He was kind enough to take the time to explain the various roasts and what I may like based on our discussion. I ordered a 5lb bag and when it arrived he had thrown in a few sample bags, which is a great way to taste before you buy, or buy the sample packs and try before you buy in larger quantities. So far Cycle Town is 2-2, batting 1.000 with Morning Ride and Cafe Campanella. Can't wait to try the next roast.

I mean, it is a 5 pound bag of coffee. That alone warrants 5 stars. But seriously, I'll be interested to try more of the roasts in the future.

The coffee, Caffee Campanella, was fresh enough it seemed, and certainly the service was very excellent! Had the package like the next day or two, really fast! The taste to my palate was nothing particularly memorable, but it was good as far as it went. I am glad I got 5 pounds - I like coffee! - and the introductory price was great. To my tastes, the coffee itself was OK. Perhaps a different blend/roast would be better.
